ABOUT THE FAIR
The Surface & Coating Expo (S&CE) is India’s leading trade fair dedicated to surface technology, coatings, finishing, corrosion protection, and environmentally responsible processes and technologies. Held biennially at the Chennai Trade Centre—one of South India’s premier exhibition venues—the event brings together international experts, industry leaders, and technology pioneers in the city of Chennai.
Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the country’s largest and most influential industry association, the expo reflects CII’s commitment to industrial progress and technological innovation. S&CE provides a hands-on platform focused on key issues in surface treatment—from pre-treatment and coating to final finishing, corrosion control, and sustainable environmental technologies.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 31. August to 02. September 2018, about 180 exhibitors from 9 countries and 9000 visitors on the Surface & Coating Expo in Chennai. The Surface & Coating Expo takes place biennially, and therefore for the 6th time previsibly in July 2027 in Chennai.
