ABOUT THE FAIR
METEC Indonesia, inspired by METEC in Düsseldorf, is an international trade fair specializing in metallurgy, steel casting, and steel production. The fair was established in 2023 and is organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia Pte. Ltd. It takes place annually at the Jakarta International Expo (JI Expo). The name "METEC" stands for Metallurgy Technology Conference and highlights the fair's significance as a platform for technological advancement in metallurgy.
The event features an extensive program covering topics such as the processing of basic and raw materials, iron production, steel production, and the production of non-ferrous metals, as well as equipment and components for smelters and rolling mills. It also includes areas such as measurement, control, and automation technology, and data communication.
