ABOUT THE FAIR
The GALENIA in Plovdiv is an international trade fair for pharmacy, laboratory furniture, equipment, and instruments. As part of an international trio of exhibitions – comprising “MEDICUS”, “DENTO”, and “GALENIA” – GALENIA is a component of a trade fair accompanied by a professional forum where health experts, dentists, and doctors from all over Europe meet with leading manufacturers and representatives from the dental, pharmaceutical, and medical industries. The international exhibition for medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy, MEDICUS, DENTO, GALENIA, stands as the most prestigious forum in the healthcare sector in Bulgaria. It serves as a platform combining expertise, innovation, information, communication, and networking.
The GALENIA is organized by the International Fair Plovdiv, one of the leading exhibition companies in Southeast Europe. They organize a wide range of exhibitions, including national participation and the representation of Bulgaria at several world expos. The fair showcases the latest in technology, products, and application techniques in areas such as: pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, herbs, herbal products, pharmacy furniture, lab furniture, laboratory equipment, pharmaceutical instruments, and lab instruments.
The Plovdiv exhibition grounds, spanning an area of 159,100 square meters, is among the largest exhibition spaces in Southeast Europe. The complex includes 17 multifunctional pavilions and a state-of-the-art conference center, making it an ideal venue for an event of this magnitude.
The GALENIA takes place annually, and therefore for the twenty-seventh time previsibly in October 2026 in Plovdiv.
