ABOUT THE FAIR
METEC Southeast Asia, inspired by METEC in Düsseldorf, is a prestigious international trade fair focusing on metallurgy, steel casting, and steel production. Launched in 2021, the event is organized by Messe Düsseldorf Asia Pte. Ltd. and takes place biennially at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok. METEC stands for Metallurgy Technology Conference, highlighting the event's significance as a platform for technological advancement in metallurgy.
The extensive program of the fair covers areas such as the processing of basic and raw materials, iron production, steel production, and the manufacture of non-ferrous metals.
