ABOUT THE FAIR
Upakovka is one of the most important international trade fairs for packaging technologies, materials, and machinery in Ukraine. It takes place at the International Exhibition Center (IEC) in Kyiv – a modern venue with excellent transport connections and strong international visibility. Although held at irregular intervals, each edition of the fair is regarded as a key meeting point for the industry.
More than just a showcase for products and technologies, Upakovka serves as an economic catalyst for the region and a strategic entry point for companies looking to access the Ukrainian market. The event is organized by Acco International, a well-established trade fair organizer with over 30 years of experience in the Eastern European market. This makes the fair a reliable platform for building business networks, establishing partnerships, and exploring market opportunities.
The focus of the fair lies on current developments in the packaging industry. Visitors gain comprehensive insights into the entire production process – from packaging design and manufacturing to labeling, marking, and final packaging. Technologies for filling, dosing, and palletizing are also well represented. Recycling and environmentally responsible disposal are becoming increasingly relevant and are now a fixed part of the exhibition offering.
Special emphasis is placed on food and beverage packaging. This includes advanced technologies for producing glass and plastic containers, as well as solutions for printing, coding, and decorating packaging.
