ABOUT THE FAIR
Held annually, Lightweight Asia is recognised as the premier trade fair for lightweighting technologies in the automotive sector. The event takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) – one of Asia’s most advanced exhibition venues, located in the economic heart of Shanghai.
The fair is organised by RX Global HQ, a globally renowned exhibition organiser known for its industry-focused, practice-oriented platforms.
Lightweight Asia is specifically tailored to decision-makers, developers, designers and engineers from the automotive and commercial vehicle industries, as well as to suppliers and materials manufacturers. It offers not only a comprehensive overview of current and emerging lightweight solutions, but also addresses some of the industry’s most pressing challenges: weight reduction, energy efficiency and sustainable mobility.

Particular attention is given to companies and design studios developing innovative lightweight concepts and presenting them live at the event. Lightweight Asia also serves as an outstanding platform for international collaboration, technical presentations and live demonstrations.
