ABOUT THE FAIR
Quantum Effects is the first European trade fair with a dedicated conference format focused specifically on the practical application of quantum technologies. Launched in 2023 by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, the event takes place annually at the state-of-the-art Stuttgart Trade Fair Center – conveniently located with direct access to both the airport and motorway network.
The name Quantum Effects symbolizes the measurable technological impact of quantum physics on real-world industrial applications.
At the heart of the event are key focus areas such as quantum computing, enabling technologies, quantum software, quantum sensing, and quantum communication. Among the innovations presented are superconducting quantum chips, ultra-stable cooling systems, quantum-based imaging solutions, post-quantum cryptography, and modular development toolkits.
The fair targets innovation-driven sectors including medical technology, aerospace, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, energy, finance, mobility, telecommunications, and IT. The emphasis is not on showcasing technology for its own sake, but on demonstrating its concrete application in industrial processes.
The program features in-depth expert presentations, panel discussions, and workshops on topics such as commercialization, regulation, and financing. These are complemented by technical tours, deep-dive sessions, and start-up pitch formats. The dedicated “Game Changer Area” brings together founders, investors, and industry decision-makers in a unique matchmaking environment that fosters collaboration and knowledge exchange.
