ABOUT THE FAIR

The "Mauritius Maritime Week" is considered the leading maritime trade fair and conference in the Indian Ocean. This event is organized by TRANSPORT EVENTS Ltd. and receives support from renowned institutions such as the Port Management Association of Eastern and Southern Africa (PMAESA) and the Association of Indian Ocean Islands Ports (APIOI). As a central forum, the MMW offers professionals from the maritime sector the opportunity to exchange ideas on topics such as port operations, shipping, supply chain management and innovative logistics strategies. More than 300 experts from government, industry and academia come together here to attend presentations by over 30 leading industry experts. A special feature of the Mauritius Maritime Week is the comprehensive port tour, which gives participants direct insights into modern facilities and processes. In addition, 50 exhibitors can present their latest products and services and establish direct contacts with decision-makers. The event is characterized by a wide range of products and services that have been specially developed for the maritime industry. These include port equipment and technology, ship management systems, logistics software, cargo and container handling equipment, security and surveillance technologies, maritime communication solutions, navigation systems, shipbuilding and repair services, as well as environmental protection technologies and consulting services for the maritime industry. The Mauritius Maritime Week plays a significant role not only because of its location in Mauritius, but is also part of a global series of events in key port cities, providing a continuous platform for exchange and networking.
