ABOUT THE FAIR

The "Market of Good Taste" (Markt des guten Geschmacks) in Stuttgart, a standout fair of the Slow Food movement, takes place annually in the spring. It is dedicated to showcasing and promoting regional specialties that are free from additives. Since its inception, the fair has evolved into a significant meeting point for gourmets and consumers who value quality, taste, and sustainable production. Organized by Messe Stuttgart GmbH, the fair presents an impressive selection of food and beverages from regional producers, with a focus on the quality and taste experience of the products. The event serves not only as a platform for exchange between visitors and exhibitors but also as a place for education and active participation. Visitors have the opportunity to engage directly with the producers, sample their products, and become actively involved in the fair's own cooking workshop. Under guidance, they can prepare their own dishes and then enjoy them in a convivial round. In addition to food and beverages, the fair's offerings also include handmade kitchen furniture and utensils, as well as specialist books on topics related to food and drink. An extensive program of discussion forums and lectures provides deeper insights into the Slow Food movement and sustainable food production. The fair is held at the easily accessible Stuttgart Exhibition Center, located near the A8 motorway. Thanks to its proximity to Stuttgart Airport and the numerous parking options available both at the exhibition grounds and in the airport parking garage, arrival by car and on foot is convenient. The connection to public transport also ensures a hassle-free arrival for visitors from different regions. With its spring timing, the "Market of Good Taste" has established itself as an important event that embodies the values of the Slow Food movement and provides a platform for exchange and discovery of regional, sustainable food and products. The Markt des guten Geschmacks will take place on 4 days from Thursday, 15. April to Sunday, 18. April 2027 in Stuttgart.
