ABOUT THE FAIR
The AZUBISpot in Sulzbach is an annual public event dedicated entirely to the topics of vocational training, career orientation, and career planning – delivered in an engaging and hands-on way. As an innovative platform for students, school leavers, parents, and teachers, it combines information with emotion, clearly setting itself apart from traditional education fairs. The event is organized by RAV Medienagentur, an experienced specialist in cinema advertising and event management, which has established the AZUBISpot as a successful nationwide series.
A distinctive feature of the fair is its venue: the KINOPOLIS cinema at the Main-Taunus-Zentrum in Sulzbach. This modern cinema environment offers high-quality technology, comfortable seating, and excellent acoustics, while giving the event a unique character. In this relaxed atmosphere, it’s easy for young people to engage in conversations with companies, institutions, and apprentices. Live presentations on the big screen, a slot machine, photo booths, and incentives like free movie tickets further enhance the appeal and turn the fair into a memorable experience.
Admission is free and open to all visitors; larger groups are kindly asked to register in advance. At the heart of the event is direct interaction between young people and local employers. Students can ask questions in one-on-one conversations, receive tailored advice, and establish their first contacts for apprenticeships, internships, or dual study programs – a level of personal connection that digital formats simply cannot offer.
The fair covers a wide and practical range of topics. In addition to traditional dual training programs in fields such as trades, industry, retail, and healthcare, it also presents dual study courses, in-house academy models, and alternative education paths. A particularly outstanding feature is the high level of interactivity: many exhibitors offer hands-on activities or provide insight into typical work routines – whether through manual tasks, simulators, or office-related activities designed for participation. This experiential approach fosters a tangible understanding of various professions and their requirements.
