ABOUT THE FAIR

Since its inception in 2017, the Lyon Tasting has quickly established itself as the premier wine event in Eastern France. Organized by the esteemed wine magazine "Terre de vins," this annual autumn affair at the Palais de la Bourse in Lyon showcases an impressive array of exquisite wines, primarily from the prestigious vineyards of Burgundy, Beaujolais, and the Rhône Valley. However, other prominent French regions like Bordeaux, Champagne, Provence, Languedoc, and Roussillon are also well-represented. The festival annually attracts wine enthusiasts and experts who not only appreciate the diversity and quality of the wines on display but also seize the opportunity to engage directly with the producers. The event is further enhanced by artistic and musical performances, creating a vibrant and atmospheric ambiance. Thanks to strategic partnerships with a dozen local restaurants offering special wine tastings as part of the Lyon Tasting, the wine experience is expanded throughout the city. A particular highlight for attendees is the prestigious masterclasses and entertaining workshops focused on the Côtes du Rhône. For the adventurous, there's also a blind tasting competition in collaboration with Chateaunet. An integral part of the fair is the "Bistrot Lyon Tasting," showcasing the famed Lyonnaise gastronomy. Here, visitors can savor the finest Lyonnaise delicacies while enjoying a convivial moment with fellow enthusiasts. The bistrot also provides an ideal platform for engaging with passionate winemakers and offers the chance to receive advice and tips on wine pairings. Nestled in the heart of Lyon, within the striking Palais de la Bourse, the Lyon Tasting has not only found an ideal location but also a special place in the hearts of wine lovers. The fair isn't just an exhibition; it's a true celebration of the essence of the French wine country.
