ABOUT THE FAIR
The ICIF China, officially known as the China International Chemical Industry Fair, is a trade fair held annually in September in Shanghai, focusing on the chemical and petrochemical industries. Since its inception in 1992, it has become one of the leading industry gatherings in China. Organized by the CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry, the fair actively promotes the Chinese chemical industry by connecting local companies with global markets.
Over three days, the fair takes place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, one of the most advanced exhibition centers in Asia, showcasing a wide range of products and services. The offerings span from petrochemicals, new chemical materials, and advanced chemical technologies to equipment and solutions for packaging, storage, and transportation in the chemical industry. Additionally, the fair features basic and specialty chemicals, as well as technologies for chemical safety and environmental protection. Another highlight is the latest advancements in SmartChem and intelligent manufacturing, which include innovative technologies such as Big Data, 5G, and digital twin technology.
