ABOUT THE FAIR
Established in 1996, the "Hobbymesse" fair in Leipzig is a premier event centred around model building, model railways, creative crafting, and gaming. The name aptly captures the essence of the fair: models, hobbies, and games.
Hosted by Leipzig Messe GmbH, an organisation with vast expertise and a longstanding history in the exhibition business, the fair transforms the Leipzig grounds into a hub for enthusiasts every autumn. It becomes a gathering point for those passionate about models, hobbies, and games.
At the heart of "Hobbymesse" are themes such as model railways, model crafting, handicrafts, games and toys, philately, numismatics, and 3D printing. Exhibitors from these sectors showcase their newest products and services. Notably, the fair features Germany's largest indoor flight area and the most extensive airbrush exhibition. It also boasts a vast gaming zone and a plethora of creative workshops, drawing in thousands of visitors annually.
