The "CTG" is a specialized international trade fair for the textile and garment industry. It is considered the largest of its kind in Cambodia and is distinguished by its long-standing experience and high significance in the sector. The acronym "CTG" stands for "Cambodia Textile & Garment," highlighting its specific focus and reach within this industry. The fair is held annually at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It serves as a central event for the textile industry, attracting numerous professional visitors and exhibitors. It is organized by the Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd. and the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation (MISTI), in cooperation with the Textile, Apparel, Footwear and Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC). The fair primarily focuses on textiles, clothing, accessories, fibers, filaments, yarns, fabrics, and the related machinery and equipment technology. The wide range of products and services presented extends from textile machinery and accessories to bleaching and washing machines, as well as embroidery and spinning machines. Additionally, chemicals, dyes, as well as auxiliary devices and accessories for textile machinery are showcased. The CTG fair not only strengthens the local industry in Cambodia but also promotes international connections and trade relationships. The exhibitors mainly come from areas such as textile production, machinery manufacturing, and accessory distribution. The main visitors include professionals from the textile and garment industry, including manufacturers, importers, exporters, as well as decision-makers and industry experts. The CTG is part of a series of TG exhibitions, which also take place in Vietnam (VTG), Dhaka, Bangladesh (DTG), and Myanmar (MTG). This underscores its role as a platform for regional and international cooperation in the textile industry.
