ABOUT THE FAIR
The China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (C-PLEX) is an internationally oriented trade fair that has established itself as a key platform for economic and trade exchange between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. Held annually at the prestigious Venetian Macao Resort Hotel Convention & Exhibition Center, the event takes place in a state-of-the-art exhibition venue located in the heart of Macao, renowned for its excellent infrastructure, global accessibility, and role as a bridge between East and West.
C-PLEX is organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute in collaboration with Macao Expo Group Co., Ltd. Together, they create an environment that fosters sustainable economic cooperation.
The expo combines in-depth specialization with a broad thematic scope. It focuses on forward-looking sectors such as cross-border e-commerce, renewable energy, agriculture, food production, professional services, and the blue economy—a field that encompasses marine resources, maritime innovation, and sustainable use. Showcased are both traditional goods and highly innovative products and services from China and nine Portuguese-speaking countries, including Brazil, Angola, Portugal, and Mozambique.
C-PLEX stands out for its clear focus and unique positioning: it is the only event of its kind worldwide dedicated exclusively to economic collaboration between China and the Lusophone world. Companies, investors, government representatives, and industry professionals from a wide range of sectors—from trade, logistics, and IT to agribusiness and sustainable technologies—use the expo strategically for business development, market insight, and networking. Exhibitors range from established corporations and dynamic start-ups to government institutions and chambers of commerce.
The trade fair is complemented by a diverse supporting program that includes investment forums, industry meetings, matchmaking sessions, and advisory services. These formats are specifically designed to support market entry and the development of joint projects in partner countries.
International visitors can easily access the venue via Macao International Airport or by high-speed ferry from Hong Kong.
