ABOUT THE FAIR
The CONNECT is an annual career fair that has established itself as a key interface between academic studies and professional life in the Lake Constance region. Organized by the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG Konstanz), it offers students and graduates—especially from the fields of computer science, economics, cultural studies, and law—the opportunity to connect directly with a wide range of companies.
The event aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange among students, graduates, professors, and both regional and national companies, fostering long-term professional networks.
What sets CONNECT apart is its practical focus and interdisciplinary orientation: technology, business, and design are at the heart of the fair, reflecting the core profile of HTWG Konstanz. The fair provides information about internships, working student positions, thesis opportunities, trainee programs, and direct entry positions. At the same time, it facilitates personal conversations with company representatives who are actively seeking dialogue with the next generation of professionals.

The venue is the Bodenseeforum Konstanz, a modern and architecturally striking exhibition center located directly on the shores of Lake Constance. Its central location and state-of-the-art facilities provide an ideal setting for the event.
Despite its broad thematic scope, CONNECT remains clearly structured and purpose-driven. The fair is further enriched by faculty-specific formats such as Civil Engineering Day or Electrical Engineering Day, which meaningfully expand the university’s career offerings.
