ABOUT THE FAIR
The China (West) Electronic Information Expo, formerly known as the China Electronics Fair West (CEF), is one of China’s most established and forward-looking trade fairs for electronics and information technology. Since its inception in 1964, it has served as a specialized platform for professionals and enterprises from across the electronics, information, and communication technology sectors.
Held biennially at the Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center (CCNICEC) in Chengdu, the Expo takes place in one of Southwest China's most dynamic innovation hubs. Chengdu is recognized as a key center for digital and industrial development in the region. The event is organized by China Electronic Appliance Co., Ltd., a leading player in exhibition management for the electronics and high-tech industries.
At the heart of the Expo is a clear focus on the digital future. Its thematic scope spans intelligent devices, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, electronic components, integrated circuits, testing and measurement technologies, and industrial digitalization solutions. Key innovations such as XR terminals, flexible AMOLED displays, drones, low-altitude aviation systems, smart mobility solutions, smart cities, and AI-driven manufacturing processes are prominently featured. The Expo offers hands-on insights into the integration of industrial applications with digital vision – from smart factories and digital healthcare to next-generation energy systems.

Closely aligned with China’s regional development strategies, it supports the economic growth of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone, the Belt and Road Initiative, and high-tech development programs in Western China.
As part of the broader China Electronics Fair network, which also includes events in Shanghai and Shenzhen, the western edition in Chengdu provides targeted access to stakeholders in Central and Western China. The modern Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center is located in Chengdu’s southern high-tech corridor and is well-connected to the city’s transportation infrastructure.
