ABOUT THE FAIR
NeussKreativ is an annual consumer exhibition held at the Stadthalle Neuss, dedicated entirely to arts and crafts, creative making, and needlecraft. The event is organised by Okken GmbH, an experienced organiser of creative and consumer exhibitions. With a diverse range of exhibitors and hands-on activities, the company creates an inspiring and interactive experience for craft enthusiasts of all ages.
The exhibition is aimed at hobby crafters, sewing and needlework enthusiasts, DIY fans, experienced makers, families, and anyone interested in discovering new creative techniques or developing their crafting skills. Rather than showcasing finished works of art, the focus is on materials, tools, innovative products, and creative ideas that visitors can explore and try for themselves. The exhibition covers almost every aspect of the creative crafting world. Exhibitors showcase fabrics, wool and yarns, sewing machines, haberdashery, and supplies for sewing, knitting, crochet, embroidery, patchwork, and quilting. Visitors can also browse an extensive selection of scrapbooking materials, stamps, cutting dies, craft papers, and card-making products. The range is complemented by beads, gemstones, jewellery-making supplies, wirework materials, and products for diamond painting. In addition, exhibitors present paints, drawing and art materials, stencil techniques, speciality paints, resin and casting products, silicone moulds, cutting plotter solutions, textile transfer materials, craft concrete, Window Color products, miniature worlds, and a wide variety of DIY kits. One of the exhibition's highlights is its programme of more than 30 hands-on workshops, all of which can be attended without prior registration. Visitors have the opportunity to try creative techniques such as blob painting, jewellery making, working with silicone moulds, cutting plotters, and a variety of paper crafting and stamping techniques. The programme also includes family-friendly creative activities, allowing children to take an active part in the event.
