Expo Elettronica is a specialized trade fair with a clear focus on the latest developments in the electronics industry. It brings together technology enthusiasts, industry professionals, and emerging talent from around the world, and has become synonymous with innovation, exchange, and high-level technological progress. More than just an exhibition, the event serves as a driving force for forward-looking technologies in electronics, automation, telecommunications, and industrial applications.
Held twice a year, Expo Elettronica tours various cities across Italy. Each location adds its own regional character, creating a diverse and engaging trade fair experience. One of the key venues is the Fiera di Forlì exhibition center in the Emilia-Romagna region. With its central location, modern infrastructure, and proximity to major technology hubs such as Bologna, Modena, and Rimini, this site offers ideal conditions for an internationally oriented event.
The fair is organized by BLU Nautilus Srl, a well-established Italian company specializing in the planning and execution of trade shows and business events. The exhibition covers a wide range of topics, from consumer and industrial electronics to the latest advances in automation and telecommunications. Manufacturers, distributors, and developers showcase their products and solutions, including microchips, sensors, embedded systems, 3D printing, drone technology, open-source applications, and smart systems for a variety of use cases. The audience includes technicians, engineers, start-ups, researchers, and tech-savvy visitors from a broad spectrum of sectors, including IT, mechanical engineering, education, mobility, and science.
A particular highlight of the event is the Olimpiadi Robotiche competition, where secondary school students design and build robots based on Arduino technology using a specially provided "Robot R-Evolution" kit. This initiative fosters technical understanding, creativity, and enthusiasm for STEM subjects in a hands-on, team-oriented, and future-focused way. The program is rounded out with product presentations, live demonstrations, and awards for especially innovative developments.
