ABOUT THE FAIR
The World Cities Summit (WCS) is an international trade fair that has been held in Singapore since its inception in 2008. The WCS serves as a central platform for planning livable and sustainable cities. This biennial event attracts experts and industry leaders from around the world to present and discuss advanced solutions and technologies for urban challenges.
The name "World Cities Summit" reflects the fair's global commitment and its focus on urban development and sustainability. The summit is organized by the Centre for Liveable Cities (CLC) in collaboration with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore, underscoring the event's deep roots in Singapore's urban development goals.
Key themes of the WCS include resilient and regenerative cities, smart cities, urban development and planning, and the sustainable financing of urban projects. These themes are reflected in the products and services presented at the fair, which include innovative technologies, materials, and system solutions for urban infrastructure projects.

The World Cities Summit takes place biennially, and therefore for the eleventh time previsibly in June 2028 in Singapore.
