ABOUT THE FAIR
Since its launch in 1995, the Windoor Facade Expo has established itself as Asia’s premier trade fair for window, door and façade technologies. Each year, it draws an international audience of industry professionals to the Poly World Trade Center (PWTC) in Guangzhou, one of China’s most economically dynamic cities. The event is organised by Shenzhen Informa Markets Creativity Exhibition Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the globally renowned events organiser Informa Markets, which specialises in technology-focused trade fairs across Asia.
Far more than a conventional industry exhibition, Windoor Facade Expo is a highly focused platform that sets the benchmark for thematic clarity, technical depth and sector coverage. The show features state-of-the-art façade systems, cutting-edge window and door solutions, premium aluminium profiles, sealants, adhesives, fasteners, control systems, safety and automation technologies, as well as specialised machinery and tools for processing. Spanning the entire product lifecycle – from energy-efficient building components to smart building technologies – the Expo serves as a forward-looking hub of expertise for the building envelope of tomorrow.
But Windoor is not just a showcase for innovation; it is also a platform for dialogue. Architects, structural engineers, developers, planners, manufacturers and distributors from across the construction, architecture and design industries come together to exchange ideas on the latest trends, materials and construction methods. A particular highlight is the concurrent Architectural Technology Conference, where leading experts explore key topics such as sustainable construction, digital planning processes and advanced materials.
A fixture in Asia’s construction calendar, the Windoor Facade Expo brings together exhibitors from the fields of window, door and façade manufacturing, glass processing, metalwork, construction chemicals and mechanical engineering. On the visitor side, the event targets industry professionals from architecture, construction planning, property development, trade and skilled crafts – bringing together decision-makers from every stage of the value chain.
Guangzhou, located in the heart of the economically vibrant Pearl River Delta, provides an ideal setting with the Poly World Trade Center offering a modern, well-connected exhibition venue. Situated near the major transport hub Canton Fair Complex and reachable from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in under an hour, the Expo is not only a content-rich industry event but also a logistically central meeting point for the future of construction in Asia.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 11. March to 13. March 2024, about 570 exhibitors and 59178 visitors on the Windoor Facade Expo in Guangzhou. The Windoor Facade Expo takes place annually, and therefore for the thirty-third time previsibly in March 2027 in Guangzhou.
