The "Uzbekistan Seed Expo" is a specialized trade fair focused on showcasing and promoting innovations in agriculture, especially in seed technology. Founded in 2024, it reflects the dynamic evolution of Uzbekistan's agriculture, traditionally centered on cotton and wheat, but increasingly moving towards diverse farming practices and modern technologies.
The expo's name, "Seed Expo," highlights its emphasis on advancements in seed technology and their industrial applications. Held annually at the Azimut Grand Hotel in Tashkent, it reinforces the growing significance of agriculture in this region.
Organized by SoilExpo, a body dedicated to the advancement of agricultural techniques and practices, the "Uzbekistan Seed Expo" presents innovative technologies, varieties, and methods significant for Uzbekistan and other Asian countries.
The expo covers a wide range, including grain and industrial facilities, fruit and vegetable cultivation, storage and processing technologies for agricultural products, greenhouse construction, ornamental and fodder plants, animal feed additives and veterinary medicine, agricultural machinery, irrigation technology, greenhouses, plant protection products and materials, as well as equipment for fish farming and livestock or poultry breeding.
Various products and services are showcased, ranging from seeds to modern agricultural equipment, and advancements in animal breeding and veterinary medicine. The expo underscores Uzbekistan's role as a leader in agricultural innovation in Central Asia, serving as a showcase for the latest developments in this economically significant sector.
