ABOUT THE FAIR
TurkmenTextile Expo is Turkmenistan’s leading international trade fair dedicated to the textile and fashion industry. Held annually at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat, the event welcomes industry professionals and exhibitors from across the globe. The fair is organised by Turkmen Expo, a seasoned trade show operator with strong ties to government institutions and international partners.
Far more than a conventional industry event, TurkmenTextile Expo serves as a dynamic platform for textile innovation, sustainable manufacturing, creative design, and international collaboration. Its core themes include industrial textile production, apparel and fashion, home textiles, advanced materials, and emerging trends in design and creativity. The exhibition brings together cutting-edge technology and artisanal craftsmanship, functional textiles and eco-friendly fabrics, global fashion lines and local design talent.
The product range on display spans the entire textile value chain – from fibre processing and textile machinery to finished garments. Exhibits include state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, natural fibre processing technologies, dyes and chemicals, ready-to-wear fashion, footwear, leather goods, accessories, home and eco-textiles, sewing supplies, cosmetics, and jewellery.
Closely aligned with Turkmenistan’s economic development strategy, the fair plays a key role in the country’s efforts to position itself as a competitive textile producer on the global stage. As one of the world’s largest cotton producers, Turkmenistan uses the Expo as a strategic platform to modernise its textile sector, strengthen international partnerships, and establish itself as a hub for innovation in the Eurasian region.
A standout feature of the event is its fashion shows, where both international and domestic designers showcase their latest collections. The programme is further enriched by expert forums and networking events.
Exhibitors represent a broad cross-section of the industry, including textile machinery manufacturers, fashion and apparel companies, chemical producers, interior and home textile specialists, sustainability innovators, design studios, and cosmetics brands. Key attendees include buyers, designers, production managers, investors, fashion professionals, and representatives from public and private enterprises across Central Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Far East.
The venue – the CCI Exhibition Centre – is centrally located in Ashgabat, offering modern facilities and excellent transport links to both the international airport and the city centre.
