ABOUT THE FAIR
The Salone del Risparmio is Europe’s largest and most significant trade fair for the asset management industry. Held annually at the state-of-the-art Allianz MiCo – Milano Convention Centre in Milan, it takes place in one of Europe’s premier exhibition venues.
Far more than a traditional financial expo, the Salone del Risparmio brings together a conference, training hub, and innovation platform — designed primarily for industry professionals, but increasingly attracting private investors with a keen interest in finance.
The event is organised by Assogestioni, the Italian association representing asset management firms. Assogestioni brings together regulatory and economic expertise from across the sector and curates a dynamic and wide-ranging programme. Topics span asset management, sustainable investing (ESG), and cutting-edge digital developments including FinTech and platform-based solutions. The content is further structured around dedicated thematic tracks — known as percorsi tematici — covering areas such as pensions, investment strategies, financial education, and distribution. The result is a deep and accessible knowledge environment, offering valuable insights to both seasoned professionals and newcomers to the industry.
The first two days of the fair are reserved exclusively for industry participants — from portfolio managers, wealth advisers and institutional investors to tax specialists, FinTech providers and distribution experts. On the third day, the Salone opens its doors to the wider public: private investors, families, students and school groups are invited to explore financial education in a hands-on format and gain insights into saving and investing.
A live stream via FR|Vision, along with on-demand access to conference sessions, extends the event’s reach far beyond the exhibition halls in Milan, enabling remote participation on a global scale.
