ABOUT THE FAIR
Photo+Adventure is far more than a conventional trade fair – it offers a comprehensive experience for anyone passionate about photography, travel, and the outdoors. Since its launch in 2004, it has established itself as a key meeting point for photography enthusiasts, travel lovers, and outdoor adventurers.
The Austrian edition takes place each autumn in the striking setting of the Pyramide Vösendorf, just outside Vienna. This unique venue stands out for its distinctive architecture and convenient location on the city's edge. The event is organized by Bolch & Wiltner OG, whose keen sense for trends and quality results in an experience that blends the best elements of a trade fair and a festival.
At its core, the event focuses on photography, travel, and outdoor exploration. Its carefully curated program spans a wide range of topics – from the latest in camera technology and image editing software to equipment for adventure travel and sustainable travel essentials. Exhibitors include manufacturers, retailers, and service providers showcasing innovative products and tailored solutions across the fields of photography, technology, tourism, and outdoor gear.
The exhibition is complemented by a diverse supporting program featuring workshops, live shoots, multimedia shows, and expert talks. It appeals to both newcomers and professionals from the photography, tourism, and outdoor industries. A particular highlight is the impressive photo exhibitions, alongside the Weltweit.Reisen festival program, which inspires wanderlust through powerful travel presentations and fresh perspectives on destinations around the globe.
The Pyramide Vösendorf is not only an architectural landmark but also offers excellent accessibility. Located right on the outskirts of Vienna, it provides ample parking and is well connected to public transport. Together with the adjoining Austria Trend Eventhotel, it also offers ideal conditions for overnight guests.
