ABOUT THE FAIR
Pharmac South is one of the most significant trade fairs for the pharmaceutical industry in South India. Since its inception in 2014, it has established itself as an indispensable industry event. The name "Pharmac" stands for Pharmaceuticals and Allied Manufacturing and Research Companies, reflecting the wide thematic scope of the exhibition. It serves as a central platform for exchange, innovation, and business development across the entire pharmaceutical value chain.
Held annually in July at the Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, the fair takes place in a key hub of the South Indian pharmaceutical sector. It is organized by Orbit Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd.
Pharmac South is characterized by its comprehensive focus on the pharmaceutical industry—from traditional active pharmaceutical ingredients to biotechnological advancements and plant-based Ayurvedic formulations. Exhibitors from sectors such as API manufacturing, veterinary medicine, nutraceuticals, and contract research and manufacturing connect with industry professionals, including decision-makers, developers, investors, and scientists.
