ABOUT THE FAIR

The Paper Vietnam, established in 2011, is one of the leading trade fairs for the paper industry in Vietnam. It is held annually at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City and is organized by Minh Vi Exhibition & Advertisement Service Co., Ltd (VEAS Co., Ltd). As a central meeting point, the fair provides a platform for national and international participants to showcase and discuss the latest developments and innovations in paper manufacturing, as well as in equipment and technology. The paper industry makes a significant contribution to Vietnam's industrial production. In 2023, it achieved a revenue of approximately USD 3 billion and has a production capacity of around 5 million tons of paper annually. The range includes printing paper, packaging paper, and hygiene paper. Driven by increasing urbanization and a rising standard of living, the Vietnamese paper market is continuously growing. The per capita consumption of paper is increasing yearly, currently reaching about 40 kg. In recent years, the industry has heavily invested in environmentally friendly technologies and recycling. Approximately 70% of the paper produced in Vietnam comes from recycled materials, significantly reducing environmental impact. Thus, the industry is not only an important economic sector but also offers substantial potential for future developments and innovations. The fair has established itself as an important platform that not only promotes the Vietnamese paper industry but also significantly contributes to the expansion of the Asian and international markets.
