ORGATEC, founded in 1963 in Cologne, is a global hub for innovations in office and commercial furnishings. The name "ORGATEC" stands for "Organization and Technology," and the fair aims to shape forward-looking work environments. It is held biennially in October at the prestigious Cologne Exhibition Centre and is organized by Koelnmesse GmbH.
ORGATEC encompasses areas such as object planning, construction, refurbishment, and operation, along with furnishings for offices and commercially used properties. This includes interior construction, smart office solutions, acoustic elements, floor coverings, wall claddings, lighting for objects, media and conference technology, and hybrid working solutions. Additionally, furniture, organization and presentation systems, ambiance & lifestyle products, IT/communications, software, hardware, as well as consulting and services are showcased.
