ABOUT THE FAIR
The OPTA Fair in Brno is recognized as the leading trade fair in the field of optics and ophthalmology in Central and Eastern Europe. This annual event attracts experts from the fields of optics and ophthalmology, providing a platform for showcasing the latest trends, technologies, and services. The organization of the fair is managed by Veletrhy Brno, in cooperation with the Association of Czech Opticians and Optometrists, highlighting its significance and recognition within the professional community.
The event usually takes place in March at the Brno Exhibition Center, a venue known for its excellent infrastructure and accessibility. This setting offers optimal conditions for exhibitors and visitors alike to network, initiate business, and exchange knowledge.
Thematically, the fair covers a broad spectrum: eyeglass frames, sunglasses, protective eyewear, children's glasses, corrective lenses, contact lenses along with care solutions, as well as sunglasses, lens cleaning solutions, components, spare parts, magnifiers, and aids for the visually impaired. It also pays attention to the latest developments in opera glasses, binoculars, microscopes, night vision equipment, barometers, thermometers, acoustic equipment, eyeglass cases, chains, accessories, cosmetics, and jewelry.
A highlight of OPTA is the presentation of machinery and technologies for the production of contact lenses and eyeglasses, as well as optometric instruments and devices. The exhibition also includes furniture for optician's shops, security technology, organizational aids, shelves, decorations, price tags, computer technology, diagnostic and therapeutic devices for ophthalmology, equipment for eye emergency rooms and doctor's offices, pharmaceuticals, and consumables.
