ABOUT THE FAIR
The MSPO – the International Defence Industry Exhibition – is regarded as one of the most prestigious and versatile trade fairs for military and security technology in Poland and Central Europe. Since its inception, the event has been organized by Targi Kielce S.A. and takes place annually in September at the modern Targi Kielce Exhibition & Congress Centre in the city of Kielce. This venue is considered one of the most advanced in Poland and is known for its excellent infrastructure and outstanding accessibility.
The MSPO has established itself as an essential industry event, distinguished by its wide thematic scope. The focus is on technological innovation, armored land vehicles, aviation and air defense systems, naval equipment, modern weaponry, CBRN protection, specialized solutions for police and border security, rescue and firefighting equipment, as well as transport and logistics solutions. Especially noteworthy are recent developments in artificial intelligence, networked sensor systems, and unmanned platforms, including premieres such as the FIELDctrl 3D MIMO radar or mobile photovoltaic power supplies. The range of exhibits is further complemented by both classic and contemporary products – from military communications and measurement technology to uniforms, personal protective equipment, medical technology, and field kitchens.
The significance of MSPO extends far beyond a mere product showcase. It serves as a political meeting point for international government delegations and provides a platform for cooperation between the Polish defense industry and global partners. Supporting programs, training sessions on international procurement procedures, and close collaboration with partners such as PGZ emphasize the strategic role of the exhibition in the international defense landscape. A particular highlight is the presentation by the Polish Armed Forces, where impressive demonstrations showcase the innovation and operational capability of the national military.
The range of exhibitors covers traditional defense industries, optoelectronics and radio electronics, as well as rescue services, logistics, and food technology. The main visitors are professionals from the military, defense, security, procurement, research, and industry sectors, who are specifically seeking the latest technologies and solutions. MSPO is a central meeting point for decision-makers from the army, air force, and navy, as well as for civil emergency services and suppliers in the security sector, offering practical and targeted value to all participants.
The venue, the Targi Kielce Exhibition & Congress Centre, is easily accessible by train, car, or plane and features state-of-the-art exhibition spaces along with professional conference facilities in a region characterized by economic growth and dynamism. For several days each year, Kielce thus becomes the focal point of the international defense and security industry.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 05. September to 08. September 2023, about 711 exhibitors from 35 countries and 26000 visitors on the MSPO in Kielce. Visitors and exhibitors meet for the 34th time on the MSPO on 4 days from Tue., 08.09.2026 to Fri., 11.09.2026 in Kielce.
