ABOUT THE FAIR
METEF is an international trade fair dedicated entirely to the aluminum industry, held annually at the BolognaFiere exhibition center in Bologna. Its name stands for "Metallurgia, Estrusione, Fonderia", reflecting the event's core focus areas—metallurgy, extrusion, and foundry technology. As one of the most significant platforms in the aluminum sector, METEF brings together innovative companies, leading experts, and key decision-makers from around the world. Organized by BolognaFiere S.p.A., one of Italy’s leading trade fair organizers, the event serves as a bridge between Italian engineering excellence and global developments in the metal industry.
At METEF, the spotlight is on the latest technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes related to aluminum and metals.
