METEC India, inspired by METEC in Düsseldorf, is a significant international trade fair for metallurgy, steel casting, and steel production. Since its inception, it has been organized by Messe Düsseldorf India Pvt. Ltd. and takes place biennially at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) NESCO in Mumbai. METEC stands for Metallurgy Technology Conference, highlighting the event's role as a platform for technical progress in metallurgy.
