ABOUT THE FAIR
The MATERIALS+ Fair is an annual professional event organized by APLF Ltd., serving as a global platform for showcasing pre-products of the fashion industry, machinery, and functional materials. Its uniqueness stems from being hosted in a different international metropolis each year, making it a unique meeting point for participants and exhibitors from around the world.
The fair's wide-ranging offerings include materials and fabrics, such as leather, cork, rubber, as well as synthetic and advanced functional materials. The latter encompasses nonwoven fabrics, woven synthetic materials, and high-performance fabrics with special properties like antibacterial, thermal, waterproof, and elastic features, as well as recycled materials.
Natural materials such as abaca, banana fibers, coconut fibers, jute, cotton, canvas, silk, linen, cashmere, and vicuña are also showcased. An important exhibition area is dedicated to accessories and components for the fashion industry, including shoe components and fashion accessories like bag frames, beads, sequins, buckles, and buttons.
The fair provides insights into the demand for manufacturing equipment, machines, tools, and accessories for the production of shoes and leather clothing. Advanced fashion technologies, wearable technologies, 3D design, and sustainable processes are also addressed.
