The Marmo+mac, often simply referred to as Marmomac, is the world's premier event for the entire stone industry, spanning from raw material extraction to the finished product. What exactly does the name mean? "Marmo" is Italian for marble, and when paired with "mac," representing machinery and technology, it encapsulates the comprehensive range of the trade fair.
Situated in the scenic city of Verona – one of Italy's paramount centres for the stone industry – the fair is held annually, typically in September or October, at the renowned Veronafiere exhibition grounds. Since its inception in 1992, the event has evolved into an essential gathering for professionals globally.
The organising body, Veronafiere, boasts vast experience in curating exhibitions and is acclaimed for its prowess in fostering and promoting diverse industries. Under its stewardship, Marmo+mac zeroes in on the core subjects of the stone industry, encompassing technologies, machinery, tools, international projects, and initiatives to boost the sector. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 24. September to 27. September 2024, about 1485 exhibitors from 55 countries and 50000 visitors on the Marmo+mac in Verona. The Marmo+mac will take place on 4 days from Tuesday, 22. September to Friday, 25. September 2026 in Verona.
