ABOUT THE FAIR
The Manufacturing Technology Series EAST, formerly known as EASTEC, is one of the most important trade shows for manufacturing technology in the United States. Held biennially at rotating locations, the event is organized by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) — a respected North American association based in Canada that is committed to innovation, workforce development, and the exchange of technology within the manufacturing sector.
As part of the nationwide Manufacturing Technology Series — which also includes WEST, SOUTHEAST, and SOUTHWEST — EAST forms a strong network of regional trade shows closely aligned with the economic and technological characteristics of their respective areas.
