ABOUT THE FAIR
Since its establishment in 1999, the KOMMUNALE in Nuremberg has become Germany's largest congress and trade fair for municipal administration leaders. It takes place in the impressive halls of NurembergMesse GmbH, one of the largest exhibition centers in Germany, renowned for its modern infrastructure and strategically favorable location in the Nuremberg metropolitan area.
Held biennially in October, the KOMMUNALE attracts a multitude of mayors, decision-makers, and senior municipal employees. The fair is known for its wide range of topics addressing current and urgent challenges at the municipal level.
Its focus lies on areas such as digitalization, IT security, energy transition, sustainability, municipal financial management, infrastructure, and municipal technology.
