ABOUT THE FAIR
The GTR Nordics is an annual high-level conference that has firmly established itself as a key meeting point for topics related to trade, export, and supply chain finance in the Nordic region. It is hosted by Global Trade Review (GTR), a UK-based, globally recognized provider of specialist events and publications in the field of international trade finance.
The event takes place at the modern Radisson Blu Waterfront Congress Centre in the heart of Stockholm, bringing together industry professionals and decision-makers from across the Nordics and beyond.
The conference offers in-depth, practical insights into the latest developments in areas such as trade and export finance, working capital management in volatile markets, geopolitical risks impacting supply chains, and digital innovation in global trade. Key topics range from the financing of strategic industries and the rise of digital trade platforms to sector-specific solutions for industries such as defence and energy. The focus is on high-level knowledge exchange, supported by an internationally diverse panel of experts.
A defining feature of GTR Nordics is its dedicated focus on the specific economic conditions and challenges facing the Nordic countries – Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. These are among Europe’s most dynamic export-driven markets, characterized by complex and globally integrated supply chains. The conference responds directly to these dynamics, offering not only high-profile panel discussions and keynote sessions but also extensive networking opportunities with over 700 senior-level participants, including banks, fintechs, export credit agencies (ECAs), corporates, and advisory firms.
Key highlights of the event include interactive panel discussions with more than 50 international experts, carefully curated networking sessions, and a dedicated exhibition area featuring around 30 specialized providers in fields such as fintech, finance solutions, risk management, and digital trade. A strong emphasis is also placed on talent development, with targeted strategies for attracting and retaining young professionals in the trade finance sector.
GTR Nordics forms part of GTR’s global series of trade finance events, which also includes editions in Singapore, London, Dubai, and Cape Town. By choosing Stockholm as a host city, the event places the Nordic capital in the league of leading global trade hubs.
