ABOUT THE FAIR
GastroPan is a trade fair for the bakery, confectionery, and catering industries. Since its founding in 2009, it has established itself as an important meeting place for professionals, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers. The name is a combination of "Gastro" for "gastronomy" and "Pan" for bread, reflecting the trade fair's focus: food production. The event takes place annually at different locations throughout Romania and is organized by Boro-Info Srl, a company specializing in trade events for the food industry.
GastroPan brings together innovation and tradition, addressing current trends such as digitalization and automation to optimize production processes in bakeries and confectioneries. At the same time, it serves as a platform for artisanal craftsmanship, where outstanding professionals showcase their expertise. A particular highlight is the "Bread of the Year" competition, which shines a spotlight on both artisanal and industrial baking excellence.
The fair offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including state-of-the-art technologies, equipment, raw materials, and ingredients for the production of bakery and confectionery goods, ice cream, chocolate, and donuts. The gastronomy and HoReCa sectors also benefit from tailored solutions for restaurants, bars, cafés, hotels, guesthouses, and catering businesses. The program is further enriched by IT solutions, consultancy services, and marketing strategies specifically designed for the food industry.

The GastroPan takes place annually, and therefore for the 17th time previsibly in March 2027 in Sibiu.
