ABOUT THE FAIR
The FTIS – Future Transportation Industry Show is a leading trade fair dedicated to the transformation of mobility and intelligent transportation. The name “Future Transportation Industry Show” reflects the clear focus of the event: at its core are innovative developments set to fundamentally reshape the way we travel and transport goods. The exhibition is held annually at the renowned National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, one of the most modern and largest exhibition venues in Asia, offering optimal connections for international guests.
The FTIS is organized by Donghao Lansheng (Group) Co., Ltd. as part of the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), one of the most significant industrial trade shows in China. The event brings together experts, leading companies, start-ups, researchers, and decision-makers from the automotive industry, software development, supply sector, energy technology, and mobility services.
The FTIS focuses on four main themes: intelligent driving, new vehicle architectures, core technologies and components, and forward-looking applications for new energy. Exhibitors showcase products and services paving the way for the next generation of mobility—including advances in chip and software technology, state-of-the-art chassis systems, smart cockpits, autonomous driving technologies, as well as innovative battery and energy storage solutions. A particular highlight is the unveiling of complete vehicle innovations, often presented to the public for the first time in Shanghai.
FTIS is closely linked to Shanghai and the Chinese market. The exclusive “Shanghai Automotive Industry Innovation Living Room” highlights the strengths and potential of the region’s industrial clusters, presenting success stories from local companies and the latest government support programs. The exhibition is accompanied by high-level industry summits and specialist seminars. A special feature is the “Sixth i Blue Sky Car Buying Festival,” where visitors can experience and purchase vehicles directly on-site.
The range of exhibitors covers vehicle manufacturing, the supply industry, electronics, IT, energy storage, infrastructure, and research. Key attendees include decision-makers, buyers, developers, investors, representatives from urban and transportation planning, as well as numerous media professionals. FTIS is part of the China International Industry Fair (CIIF).
