ABOUT THE FAIR
The FOOD TECHNOLOGY trade fair is a symbol of technological progress in food processing and is recognized as the leading professional event for food technology, processing, and safety in the Republic of Moldova. Held annually at the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) MoldExpo in Chișinău—the country's largest and most modern exhibition and congress venue—the event is organized by I.E.C. MOLDEXPO S.A. This experienced organizer of international trade fairs has long been a catalyst for economic exchange and technological advancement in the region.
Combining technical depth with regional significance and international appeal, the fair targets trade visitors and industry professionals from the fields of food processing, packaging, gastronomy, storage, and quality assurance. It is especially relevant for manufacturers, distributors, engineers, technologists, food service professionals, and representatives from research institutions and regulatory bodies involved in food safety and production.
The spotlight is on cutting-edge technologies for processing baked goods, meat, dairy, and confectionery products, as well as innovative refrigeration and storage solutions, hygiene systems, and specialized software for production control and quality management. FOOD TECHNOLOGY is a permanent fixture in Moldova’s trade fair calendar—not a touring format. The FOOD TECHNOLOGY takes place annually, and therefore for the thirtieth time previsibly in May 2026 in Chişinău .
