ABOUT THE FAIR
FESPA Africa is an international trade fair for print and signage technologies, held annually at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The name FESPA stands for Federation of European Screen Printers Associations—a global network committed to the advancement and innovation of the printing industry. Within Africa, the event is regarded as a key platform for professionals, decision-makers, and innovators engaged with the latest technologies and developments in visual communication.
Once a year, the Gallagher Convention Centre transforms into a dynamic hub for innovation in large-format printing, screen and textile printing, garment decoration, signage, commercial printing, and print consumables. The event is organized by FESPA Global Events, an organization renowned worldwide for hosting high-quality trade exhibitions across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. As part of this international network, FESPA Africa brings global industry expertise directly to Johannesburg.
Trade visitors from sectors such as advertising technology, textile finishing, graphic design, vehicle wrapping, print production, and industrial marking experience a focused and hands-on trade show environment. A particular draw are the live demonstrations by leading brands, showcasing cutting-edge technologies including direct-to-film (DTF) printing, laser engraving, vehicle wrapping, and T-shirt printing. A standout feature is the Speedwrap competition, where professionals demonstrate their speed and precision in vehicle wrapping—a dynamic highlight for both participants and spectators.
