Fair Handeln is Germany’s leading trade fair for fair trade and global responsibility – an inspiring meeting point for all those committed to a more just and equitable world. The name not only stands for "fair trade" in a literal sense but also symbolizes a clear commitment to ethical consumption, ecological responsibility, and international engagement. The event is organized annually by Landesmesse Stuttgart GmbH, one of the country’s most renowned trade fair organizers. The modern venue, located directly at Stuttgart Airport, provides an easily accessible platform for exchange, inspiration, and business networking.
Once a year, the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre transforms into a showcase of sustainable practices, where companies, NGOs, start-ups, and professional visitors from various industries come together. Fair Handeln focuses on key topics such as fair consumption, development cooperation, sustainable finance, tourism, and future-oriented fashion. Fairly produced food, eco-friendly textiles, fine artisanal goods, innovative financial services, and sustainable travel options meet a highly engaged audience from both the professional sector and civil society.
