ABOUT THE FAIR
EuroTier in Hanover is regarded as the leading international trade fair for professional animal husbandry and sustainable agriculture. Since its establishment in 1993 by the German Agricultural Society (DLG e.V.), it has been held every two years in November at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds. The fair serves as a central platform showcasing the latest technologies, products, and services in livestock farming.
The DLG e.V., the organizer of EuroTier, is a renowned institution in the agricultural and food industries, driving innovation in these sectors and coordinating other international trade fairs. EuroTier functions as an innovation platform where cutting-edge technologies and proven practices are displayed. Running concurrently with EuroTier is EnergyDecentral, a trade fair for decentralized energy supply, featuring technologies such as biogas, photovoltaics, and energy storage systems. Other attractions include the TopTierTreff, offering insights into breeding genetics, and the Barn Robot Event, demonstrating automated feeding systems.
