ABOUT THE FAIR
The "Dogs & Fun" in Dortmund is an annual fair held every May, transforming the Westfalenhalle into a gigantic dog paradise. Since its inception in 2000, the family-friendly public fair, organized by the Verband für das Deutsche Hundewesen (VDH) e. V., has become a central meeting point for dog lovers and professionals.
As an experiential fair, "Dogs & Fun" invites visitors not only to browse and learn but also to discover products related to their four-legged friends and purchase them at attractive fair prices.
Retailers, breeders, service providers, and specialized media showcase their latest products, information, and animal demonstrations. In special expert and veterinary Q&A sessions, visitors can receive valuable tips on caring for, training, and feeding their dogs. A varied, full-day show and supporting program across different activity areas makes the fair an experience for the whole family. Breeders, associations, and clubs provide firsthand information and are available to assist visitors.
