ABOUT THE FAIR
CTW Kenya is an annual international trade fair with a strong focus on B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) networking. It has established itself as a key platform for trade and economic exchange between China and Africa. The abbreviation “CTW” stands for “Connecting Trade Worldwide,” capturing the event’s core mission: the targeted promotion of global trade relations, with a special emphasis on the dynamic connection between Asia and Africa.
Organized by MIE EVENTS DMCC, the fair takes place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in the heart of Nairobi. This iconic landmark of the Kenyan capital is conveniently located and serves as a major meeting point for international business partners, policymakers, and investors.
The event focuses on forward-looking industries such as smart home technologies, consumer electronics, energy-efficient household appliances, and everyday consumer goods. Exhibitors showcase innovative solutions for connected living, modern packaging technologies, and design-oriented homeware. The trade fair is complemented by accompanying conferences, including the “Women in STEM Africa Summit,” which promotes female professionals in science and technology, and the “Africa E-Digital Connect Summit,” which addresses topics like digitalization, e-government, data protection, and sustainable urban development.
