ABOUT THE FAIR
Central Asia Fashion (CAF) has been an established international fashion trade fair since 2006, held at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre in the heart of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Organized by the renowned exhibition company Catexpo, it serves as a vital platform that injects fresh momentum into the fashion industry across Central Asia.
Taking place twice a year – in spring and autumn – the fair showcases the full spectrum of the fashion world. Featured are women’s, men’s, and children’s apparel, complemented by accessories, footwear, leather and fur garments, evening and bridal wear, denim, knitwear, lingerie, maternity fashion, plus-size clothing, sports and homewear, fashion jewelry, and lifestyle products. In addition to established brands, emerging labels also receive targeted support through dedicated pop-up spaces and the CAF Designer Pool, which highlights up-and-coming designers.
What sets CAF apart is its clear focus on business relevance and market development. As the only regular fashion exhibition in Central Asia, it serves as a key economic bridge between international brands and regional markets. Almaty, as a financial and logistics hub for countries such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, provides ideal conditions for establishing B2B connections and driving strategic expansion.
The trade fair is accompanied by a high-caliber program that includes market analyses, conferences, and masterclasses. A dedicated consulting center and a career fair support both businesses and industry professionals. The Show Area, which runs daily, hosts fashion shows, collection launches, award ceremonies such as the CAF Awards, as well as charity events and autograph sessions.
Exhibitors represent all sectors of the textile and fashion industry—from manufacturers to wholesalers, specialty retailers, design studios, and start-ups. Visitors include buyers, retailers, shopping center representatives, online platforms, and industry analysts from more than 35 countries—often supported by government programs from countries such as Turkey, Italy, and Germany.
