ABOUT THE FAIR
The BioPharma Expo is Japan's leading trade show for biopharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing technologies. It is an integral part of INTERPHEX Week, which is held in various locations, including Osaka and Tokyo. In Osaka, the event takes place annually at the INTEX Osaka International Exhibition Center, one of the region's most important exhibition centers.
The term "BioPharma" refers to biopharmaceutical products that use biological substances for medical and therapeutic purposes. The Expo covers a wide range of topics, including laboratory equipment, cleaning and separation processes, manufacturing processes, cleanroom technologies, sterilization, and logistics and transportation. Key areas also include filling, freeze-drying, and plant construction. In addition, services from Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) are presented.
The BioPharma Expo is held annually and attracts exhibitors and visitors from various sectors, including biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, and medical technology.
