ABOUT THE FAIR
The Autumn Fair Klagenfurt is one of the largest and most significant consumer fairs in the Alpine-Adriatic region and takes place every September at the modern exhibition center in Klagenfurt. It is organized by Klagenfurter Messe Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, a company with many years of experience and a keen sense for trends, known for successfully hosting trade fairs throughout the region.
Unlike purely trade-oriented events, the Autumn Fair is specifically designed for end consumers and families. It offers a unique mix of shopping opportunities, information, culinary experiences, and entertainment. Around 500 exhibitors present their products, services, and innovations across approximately 50,000 square meters – ranging from regional craftsmanship and international brands to creative start-ups.
The fair concept focuses on diverse content, clearly organized into themed areas. In the Building, Living & Energy section, visitors can explore modern heating systems, sustainable building materials, interior design, and skilled craftsmanship. The Vehicles & Mobility section showcases the latest technology in new cars, e-mobility, and accessories, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions. The Health, Wellness & Leisure area centers on quality of life – from saunas and pools to preventive healthcare and outdoor activities.
A particular highlight is the Culinary & Regionality section, which brings the diversity of Carinthia and the Alpine-Adriatic region to life. Regional producers, craft breweries, and the "GenussMeile" tasting area invite visitors to indulge in authentic flavors. This offering is complemented by fashion, jewelry, and accessories – from everyday wear and traditional costumes to handmade one-of-a-kind pieces.
This wide range is accompanied by a varied supporting program. A live stage featuring music, shows, cooking duels, and panel discussions ensures entertainment for all ages, while a dedicated children's program and exciting prize draws – including the chance to win a car – make the Autumn Fair a true experience for the whole family.
