ABOUT THE FAIR
Initiated in 2009, ArtVilnius is an international fair for modern and contemporary art, held annually at the Litexpo – the Lithuanian Exhibition Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.
The fair is organized by the Lithuanian Art Gallerists’ Association (LMGA), offering numerous galleries and artists a platform to present their contemporary art works. The fair emphasizes various art forms such as painting, sculpture, and installations, and its diverse program includes educational events, panel discussions, and video workshops.
The products and services presented at the fair primarily comprise art works and artistic performances, as well as art consultancy. ArtVilnius has a profound connection to the city and the country as it unites artists and art enthusiasts from both domestic and international backgrounds to explore and experience the Lithuanian art scene.
A highlight of the fair is the large-scale sculpture and installation exhibition "Takas" (The Path), where artists from different countries showcase their works. Additionally, awards like “Best Artist”, “Best Gallery”, and “Best Installation” are conferred within competitions.
