ABOUT THE FAIR
Analytica Lab Africa is a significant international trade fair dedicated specifically to laboratory technology, analytics, biotechnology, and diagnostics, offering industry professionals exclusive insights into the latest trends and technologies. The event takes place biennially at the renowned Gallagher Convention Centre (GCC) in Midrand, strategically positioned between Johannesburg and Pretoria. Since its debut in July 2019, analytica Lab Africa has established itself as a leading event in its field within southern Africa.
The exhibition is organized by the internationally acclaimed Messe München GmbH in cooperation with Messe München India, represented locally by Messe München South Africa. As part of the global analytica family, analytica Lab Africa benefits from the expertise and network of this internationally established series, which includes similarly successful events in Munich, China, India, Vietnam, and the United States.
Analytica Lab Africa stands out due to its extensive range and specific focus on current topics. In the fields of analytics and laboratory technology, leading companies showcase innovative equipment and state-of-the-art analytical techniques such as chromatography and spectroscopy, along with solutions for quality control and assurance. Concurrently, the biotechnology and life sciences segment provides deep insights into molecular biology, genetic research, and pharmaceutical and industrial biotechnological applications.

On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 05. July to 07. July 2023, about 107 exhibitors from 13 countries and 4762 visitors from 32 countries on the analytica Lab Africa in Johannesburg. The analytica Lab Africa will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 06. July to Thursday, 08. July 2027 in Johannesburg.
